Blessing of Animals
Every fall First Lutheran has a very special event for pet owners. It is the annual "Blessing of the Animals". This special service is conducted in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures.
The service is annually held as close as possible to the St. Francis feast day - which is October 4th.
This year's blessing is scheduled at First Lutheran on Sunday, October 5, at 3 pm 
on the Church lawn. All animals - furry, with fins, feathers, scales, etc. - are welcome. Please properly leash or have pets in appropriate carry case.
